Joe Cain and Tyler Maddox Simms have announced a promotional collaboration with Panther Racing and Maddox Entertainment at the Indy Car Weekend MATV World Championships on September 14th and 15th at the Auto Club Motor Speedway, in Fontana, CA.
Panther Racing’s #4 Indy Car, driven by JR Hildebrand, will feature decals for two films: Who’s Watching the Kids, now available on DVD, on the rear wing, and Beverly Barrio, in pre-production, on the front wings. Tyler Maddox Simms is the writer/director for both films. Who’s Watching the Kids stars Lavell Crawford, Elise Neal, and Joe Torry, and Beverly Barrio is scheduled to feature Wayne Lopez, Lorenzo Lamas, and Manny Streetz.
“I am delighted to introduce my films to the IndyCar audience,” explained Tyler Maddox Smith. “Since I produce entertainment primarily for the urban audience, this collaboration might seem a bit unusual. In fact, auto racing in general, and Indy racing in particular, has a growingly diverse fan base.”

"FREE" FILM BOOT CAMP - Compassion Care Center
Most people associate today’s youth with text messaging, Facebook,
and long conversations on cell phones. Unfortunately, not all teens have it this easy.
Each year, more and more young adults are subject to
different challenges that no one, let alone a young person, should have
to endure. Whether they’re sent to juvenile hall, homeless, or coming
from an abusive home, adolescents are in desperate
need of support and love.
The Maddox Foundation sponsors a "Free" Film Boot Camp, which provides training in various areas of film making, including editing, lighting, filming, etc. This year The Maddox Foundation teamed with Compassion Care Center to offer a film boot camp. The program was quite a success with a 90% completion rate, and a documentary was made as the class project. The students put their training to work!
